2022 Cover

The 2022 edition of Big Country Blitz is at the printer and I hope to get the 10,000 free full-color copies delivered to Abilene by the end of this week. Then I will begin delivering them around the Big Country for you to, hopefully, enjoy.

In the meantime, how about we reveal the cover for the third edition?

Thank you to Regina Penney of Penney Photography for designing the cover again this year, and a big thank you to Dr. Seth Ardoin at Abilene Pediatric Dental Associates for being our cover sponsor again for 2022.

There is a ton of talent around the area and I felt like these ten players were a cut above the rest:

You’ll notice I listed ten and there are only nine on the cover. Somehow in the final edit Warren was taken off the cover collage and I didn’t notice it. My sincere apologies to Chris and the Cougars. He is still featured in the “Best of the Big Country” spread inside the magazine. I’m still not sure how that happened. The cover below is the one that should have been printed. Live and learn.

We will see if these ten players can help lead their teams deep in the playoffs this season, and also see which players that didn’t make the cover rise up to make me wish I had put them on as well.
