Dynamic Cooper defensive lineman Dycin Davis is the choice as the Big Country Blitz 5A Preseason Defensive MVP.

Davis, a junior with offers from the likes of Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa and Arizona, was a first-team all-district selection a year ago with 85 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and six sacks.
