3A Offensive and Defensive MVPs
The 3A Offensive MVP was pretty much a no-brainer, as Clyde quarterback Blake Carr broke numerous school records on his way to a fantastic senior season.
Carr, the District 3-3A Division I MVP, threw for 2,635 yards and 36 touchdowns and added 1,743 yards and 20 more touchdowns on the ground.
He is committed to play in college at Division II power Pittsburg State.
Clyde earns the 3A Defensive MVP as well this season as linebacker Josh Hutton gets it over Breckenridge safety Alexis Franco, Merkel linebacker Elijah Olivarez, and Jim Ned linebacker Trey Hicks in a close decision.
Hutton had 97 tackles, 57 of them solo, and was named the 3-3A Division I Defensive MVP.
