Abilene D1 7 on 7 State Qualifying Tournament Photos

Wichita Falls Memorial and Lake Belton were the two qualifiers at the Abilene 7 on 7 State Qualifying Tournament (SQT) Saturday.

Abilene High, Cooper and Wylie also were among the teams competing. Cooper has already qualified for state courtesy of winning the Wichita Falls SQT two weeks ago.

Abilene High beat the Cooper JV 33-6, lost to Harker Heights 27-22 and lost to Lubbock Coronado 28-20.

Cooper lost to Copperas Cove 13-12, beat Lockhart 20-7 and lost to Buda Johnson 27-26.

Wylie beat the Abilene JV 38-6, lost to Wichita Falls Memorial 21-18 and lost to Odessa High 27-26.

The State 7 on 7 Tournament is set for June 27-29 in College Station.
