Big Country Blitz 2A Preseason Defensive MVP: Diontay Ramon

Hawley’s Diontay Ramon, who is also a heck of an offensive player, is our Class 2A Preseason Defensive MVP after a stellar junior campaign.

Ramon helped Hawley win state for the first time in program history and put up some impressive numbers along the way: 67 tackles, 25 (!) of those for loss, eight sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. His height and quickness make him hard to throw over and hard to run around, as many teams found out last season.
