Big Country Blitz 1A Preseason Offensive MVP: Grayson Rigdon
Benjamin junior Grayson Rigdon is the preseason pick as the best 1A offensive player in the Big Country.
This one was just about a no-brainer considering the numbers he put up last year in helping the Mustangs win the 1A Division II state championship.
Rigdon, the Texas Sixman Coaches Association 1A DII Player of the Year, ran for 1,539 yards and 36 touchdowns, caught five passes for 199 yards and scored all five times, and threw for 642 yards and 12 more scores.
Best of the rest:
Loraine RB AJ Williams, Abilene Christian QB Brooks Armstrong, Hermleigh SB Tyson Digby, Knox City QB Bryson Callaway, May RB Braden Steele, Panther Creek RB Ethan Croft, Rising Star RB Dathon Morris, Roby FB Kody Daniel, Rule RB Kyleik Mason, Santa Anna WR Jacob Jiminez, Westbrook RB Grayson Jeffrey, Zephyr RB Karsen Floyd
