Coaching Carousel Comes to an End

Lueders-Avoca was the first Big Country school to post a job opening and became the last to fill its head coaching position when the Raiders hired David Finch last week.

Ten head coaching changes were made this offseason, the largest being 3A Division II Ballinger down to the smallest 1A Division II school to make a move in Paint Creek.

Rotan was on the list for a little while, but Dale Means had a change of heart in his initial decision to take the head job at Springlake-Earth.

Cisco Junior College saw Ryan Taylor leave for conference rival Navarro. Juco coaching veteran John O’Mera took over for the Wranglers.
