Gustine at Ranger Photo Gallery

RANGER, Texas — The Ranger Bulldogs are officially on a winning streak after taking care of Gustine on their home field Thursday night 62-16.

Ranger started the scoring on a James Uhlhorn touchdown run and Uhlhorn pass to Landon Farmer for a 7-0 lead the 4:40 mark of the first quarter, a sign of things to come as Farmer and Uhlhorn would play huge roles in the win.

Farmer added to the total with a strip sack and fumble recovery he took back for a touchdown, breaking tackles along the way, for a 13-0 lead.

Landon Farmer actually scored on this play — not letting a quarterback bring him down on his way to the end zone

Uhlhorn added a trio of long touchdown runs and big Conner Taylor caught a touchdown pass to give the Bulldogs a 42-0 lead before Gustine got on the board late in the second quarter.

Ranger improves to 2-3 on the year while Gustine falls to 0-5.

The Bulldogs are off this upcoming week and will resume play at home against defending 1A Division II Strawn October 7.
