Lueders-Avoca at Aspermont Photos

Aspermont improved to 4-0 on the season with a 68-18 home win over the Raiders Thursday night.

The Raiders scored first on a long touchdown run to go up 6-0, but the Hornets answered with the next 52 points to take a commanding lead.

Wesley Koenig returned a kickoff and a fumble recovery for touchdowns, Donovan Miller caught a touchdown and returned a fumble for a score and Jaden Flores returned two touchdowns for interceptions on back-to-back Raider passes in the second quarter to put the game out of reach early.

Zae Mays had a pair of long touchdown runs for Lueders-Avoca, who falls to 1-3. They will host Harrold next week.

Aspermont will visit Rule next week. The Bobcats suffered their first loss of the season Thursday against Loop 62-52.
