Rising Star at Trent Photo Gallery

TRENT, Texas — Rising Star entered the state rankings this week and made sure they will stay there with a dominating 76-0 victory at Trent under the Thursday night lights.

The Gorillas drove into Rising Star territory on their first drive, but were turned away. Then the Wildcats took over, scoring 40 points by the time the first quarter was over and adding 36 more before the half.

Rising Star improves to 6-1 and will be off until October 21 to kickoff district play at home against Paint Rock.

Trent drops to 5-2 and is also heading into the bye week. The Gorillas will visit Bronte on October 21.
