The Undefeated - Week 9

No change to the unbeaten list again this week as Albany, Benjamin, Clyde, Knox City, and Stamford all cruised to double-digit victories in week nine.

The toughest matchup among the five squads is certainly Stamford next week as the Bulldogs visit Hawley in a game that will decide the District 4-2A D1 title.

Albany hosts Hamlin, Clyde heads to Iowa Park, Knox City plays at Valley, and Benjamin faces Chillicothe next week.

All four of the greater Big Country teams that were unbeaten stayed that way as well. Gordon, Jayton, Jacksboro, and Richland Springs all won by big margins.

The biggest drop-off was in the one-loss club, as Roscoe, Hermleigh, and Abilene Christian all suffered defeat for the second time this season. Just Brownwood and Westbrook remain.

The list of one-loss teams in the Big Country and Beyond was cut from 11 to eight as Estacado, Northside, and Rochelle lost in week nine.
