Big Country Blitz 3A MVPs

We don’t have quite as many teams in Class 3A in the Big Country, so both Division I and Division II are together for these awards.

Jim Ned makes it a sweep of the Offensive and Defensive MVPs, with Aiden Ellis claiming the offensive award and Carter Lange taking the defensive award.

Ellis ran for 1460 yards and 16 touchdowns this season to lead a very good Indian rushing attack.

Lange racked up 77 tackles, 20 of them for loss, five sacks, 24 more QB hurries, and a pair of forced fumbles.

Also considered for the Offensive MVP were:

Jim Ned QB Gray Beasley: 1327 yds, 19 td passing; 676 yds, 10 td rushing
Comanche QB Cayden Davis: 1174 yds, 14 td passing; 1236 yds, 8 td rushing
Early WR Andrew Reedy: 70 rec, 967 yds, 7 td; 195 yds, 8 td rushing
Clyde QB Devan Wright: 1220 yds, 13 td passing; 1074 yds, 9 td rushing

On defense, the players also in the MVP mix were:

Sweetwater LB Braxton Bartee
Comanche LB Alex Terrell
Early LB Kaeden Byrd
Brady LB Johnny Menefield

Many more Big Country players delivered quality seasons, and they are listed as the Best of the Rest for 2024.
