2A Division I MVPs

Two of the athletes on the cover of the 2024 edition of Big Country Blitz followed through with fantastic seasons in the 2A Division I ranks.

Hawley’s Keagan Ables is the area 2A DI Offensive MVP, while Kaston Vega from Stamford is the Defensive MVP.

Ables threw for 3473 yards and 36 touchdowns and also ran for 661 yards and ten more to lead the Bearcats to the playoffs yet again.

Vega, who had some serious offensive numbers himself with 1817 yards and 33 rushing touchdowns, led the Big Country with an amazing 233 tackles. He racked up 33 tackles for loss as well.
