Hardin-Simmons Spring Practice Photos

Hardin-Simmons continued spring football practice this week, and there are plenty of new faces on the field, both in the playing and coaching ranks.

Defensive Coordinator Craig Neece

HSU has a new defensive coordinator in Craig Neece. Neece replaces Zach Wilkerson, who took over as DC at Houston Christian after many successful seasons at HSU. Neece was most recently the defensive coordinator at Illinois College.

Tight Ends/Assistant Strength Coach Matt Fanning

Matt Fanning, a former player for the Cowboys, is back on campus as the tight ends coach and assistant strength and conditioning coach. Fanning led Jim Ned to the 2020 3A Division I state championship and ends a great run as head man of the Indians to come back on campus.
