Playoff Picture and Predictions - Week 10

We are headed into the final week of the high school football regular season, so here is a look at where we stand playoff-wise heading into Week 11.

Below you’ll find what I know about who is in, who is out, and who has work to do, plus how I think things will look when the regular season comes to an end.

DISTRICT 2-5A DIVISION I

Abilene High 8-2, 6-0: Clinched the district title and #1 seed with their win over Amarillo High last week.
Lubbock Cooper 6-3, 4-1: Locked in as the two-seed in the district.
Amarillo High 4-5, 3-2: Locked in as the three-seed in the district.
Tascosa 3-5, 2-3: Will be the four-seed in the playoffs with a win over Coronado or a Monterey loss to Amarillo High. Will be out of playoffs with a win and if Monterey beats Amarillo 13 or more points.
Monterey 4-5, 2-3: Will be the four-seed with a win and a Tascosa loss to Coronado. Will be four-seed with a win by 13 or more points and a Tascosa win.
Coronado 2-7, 1-4: Eliminated from playoff contention.
Caprock 1-8, 0-5: Eliminated from playoff contention.
